I decided to make an old CG test model: the famous Utah Teapot. But to make it more interesting, I decided to model the teapot along with a teacup, and add a fluid simulation as well as a smoke simulation to create the steam. I did some post-processing in Photoshop because the “steam” appeared too black inside the cup.
If anyone reading this knows how to make the smoke whiter and more “steam-like”, please let me know! I’d like to improve this photo’s realism.
